More than a goal, obtaining certification is one of the main steps in the path that Perissinotto Spa has been on for some time to achieve the highest level of sustainability in the production of its industrial pumps and modulate processes and operations according to ESG standards.
The achievement of ISO 14001 certification for Perissinotto Spa – says Fabrizio Perissinotto, Perissinotto Spa Marketing and Communication Manager – does not want and must not be either a formality or a point of arrival. In recent years we have been investing time and resources in the review of our production processes and internal organization because we consider it a primary duty towards the Planet, our employees and stakeholders and the entire industrial ecosystem to which we belong.
ISO 14001 certification towards a bigger milestone
The first objective of the ISO 14001 certification process successfully completed by Perissinotto Spa involved the analysis of any environmental impact related to the production of industrial pumps to be aware of every single aspect, from the choice of materials and components to the control of emissions into the atmosphere. The preliminary analysis carried out by the certification company immediately provided a positive result, testifying that environmental sensitivity was already inherent in the company’s DNA, well before it was required by law. In the same way, an independent and external vision has made it possible to further refine processes and material choices, raising environmental performance indices in a short time.
